4.1 Tool selection
For good locking results, make sure that the
tools are clean and that they are changed
promptly.

5 Troubleshooting
Problem
Feed is jerky.
Seam is not locked cleanly.
Power tool does not switch
on.
5.1 Replace the power cable
The power cable may only be re-
placed by the manufacturer or its contract
workshops to prevent safety hazards.

Cause
Driver roller 30° worn.
Counter roller loose.
Driver roller 75° broken.
Power cable is defective.
Carbon brushes are worn.
