Troubleshooting
Problem
No function when ON/OFF Switch is operated
Poor cutting quality
Cutting profiles are inconsistent with
measurements
Bevel angle setting is loose
Winding the Saw Blade (8) up or down is
difficult and Winder is stiff

Possible cause
No power
Power overload tripped circuit breaker
Defective ON/OFF Switch
Defective blade
Supporting Protractor Gauge (48) or Rip
Fence (59)
insufficiently fastened
Saw Blade (8) not calibrated
Sacrificial wood on Protractor Gauge (48) no
longer provides sufficient support
Bevel Angle Locking Lever (4) not engaged
Blade Height Lock (3) is engaged
Solution
Check power supply
Press the Circuit Breaker Reset Button (19)
then test with the ON/OFF Switch
Replace the ON/OFF Switch at an authorised
Triton service centre
The blade will need replacing, see 'Saw blade
replacement' for instructions on how to
replace the saw blade
Refasten supporting fences and ensure there
is no movement when pressure is applied
Calibrate the Saw Blade using the method
described under 'Blade calibration'
Replace the sacrificial wood piece
Lock the Bevel Angle Locking Lever
Disengage the Blade Height Lock then wind
the Blade Height Winder (1). Re-engage the
lock once blade height is achieved
