To clean the upper part of the cutting-means
assembly:
• lower the cutting-means assembly completely
(position «1»);
• blow with a jet of compressed air (fig. 21).
8.5 LUBRICATION

Lubricate the lifting points with oil

Rear wheel axles
Remove the wheels. Lubricate
the axles with grease (par. 9.3.4)
(fig. 22.B).

Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure
the equipment is in safe working condition.
9. OCCASIONAL MAINTENANCE
9.1 SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
You must go to a specialized Service Centre
or contact your Dealer if the following are
malfunctioning:- the neutral position of the drive
manipulator (service brake);
- the engagement and disengagement of the
cutting means;
- the drive engagement in forward gear, reverse
gear or when changing direction.
9.2 CUTTING-MEANS ASSEMBLY /
CUTTING MEANS
9.2.1 Aligning the cutting-means assembly
The cutting-means assembly should be properly
adjusted to obtain an evenly mown lawn (fig. 15).
If mowing is uneven, check the tyre pressure
(par. 7.1.3).
If this is not sufficient to achieve an even
cut, please contact your Dealer to adjust the
alignment of the cutting-means assembly.
9.2.2 Cutting means
A badly sharpened cutting means pulls at the
grass and causes the lawn to turn yellow.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always have damaged, bent or worn cutting
means, along with their own screws, replaced in
pairs to maintain balance.
CAUTION
All work on the cutting means (disassembly,
sharpening, balancing, repairing, reassembly
and/or replacing) are demanding jobs that require
special skills as well as special tools. For safety
reasons, these jobs are best carried out at a
Specialised Centre.
WARNING
Always use original cutting means bearing the
code indicated in the "Technical Data".
NOTE
Given product evolution, the cutting means listed
in the "Technical Data" table may be replaced in
time with others having similar interchangeable
and operating safety features.
9.3 REPLACING OF FRONT / REAR
WHEELS
9.3.1 Preliminary procedures
DANGER
Use a suitable lifting device.
Before changing the wheels it is necessary to
complete some preliminary operations:
1. Position the machine on a solid and even
surface that guarantees stability of the
machine.
2. Stop the machine;
3. Remove the key from the ignition.
9.3.2 Replacing the rear wheels
1. Check that the closed jack is of a suitable
height for the distance of the application point
in relation to the ground.
2. Check that the jack is perfectly perpendicular
to the ground.
3. Engage the transmission so that the rear
wheels are locked (par. 6.3.1);
4. Place wooden wedges (fig. 23.A) in front of
and behind the two front wheels (fig. 23.B),
so as to prevent any accidental movement
