12.13 Replacement of the anti-crush system
The anti-crush system is located at the top of the loading door and in the option of two-door equipment also on
the discharge door. During the ascent of the door in case of obstruction, the system is activated and the door
returns to the open position and a visual and audible alarm is emitted at the HMI.
To replace the anti-crushing system micro switch, proceed as follows:

Open the equipment door by pressing the "OPEN DOOR" button on the HMI;

Disconnect the sterilizer and open the front finish using the key provided with the equipment;

Remove the screws securing the door trim using an allen key;

Remove the door finish;

Disconnect the micro switch wires;

Remove the fixing screws of the micro switch on the support with the aid of a screwdriver;

Install the new micro switch and return the steps above to finish;

If necessary, adjust the position of the micro switch holder and test to validate its operation.
To test the anti-crush system, proceed as follows:

With the equipment door open, press the "CLOSE DOOR" button on the HMI;

When starting the door upward movement, press the finish on the top of the door with your
hand;

The door must stop the upward movement and start to descend and a visual and audible signal
is emitted at the HMI.
13.1 Periodic preventive maintenance on schedule:
Failure to carry out these maintenance will void the equipment warranty.
13.1.1 Quarterly:

Examine the safety valve for possible leaks. Double-actuate the lever promoting steam escape
under pressure to check that the seat does not stick;

Examine all piping for leaks. If leaks are found, retighten. If the leak continues, then
disassemble, apply PTFE thread sealant and retighten. If the leak persists, then exchange the
item;

Retighten the electrical power contacts;

Inspect the door fittings, if any damage (cuts, deformations or others) is verified, proceed with
the replacement;

Clean the Y filters.
