15. STATISTICS
Machine statistics are useful in the event of service being need-
ed. Proceed as follows:
•
Access the menu by pressing buttons 1x (B2) and
simultaneously and holding for 3 seconds;
•
Turn the dial (B7) to select

Once you have entered the settings menu, select the de-
sired data by rotating the selection dial as shown in the
following table:

SOLUTION
Carry out cleaning as described in section
"8.3 Cleaning the "Smart tamping sta-
tion"", then repeat the grinding step
Adjust the quantity with the relative dial
(B1) following the indications given in
section "The "perfect dose"". If the dial is
already in the MAX position, proceed as
described in section "7. Settings menu" -
"Extra grinding adjustment"
Make sure the 2x indicator is on

To tamp the coffee correctly:
•
Bring the lever fully down;
•
Return the lever to the at-rest
position;
•
Repeat the tamping stroke, and
when the lever is fully down, remove
the portafilter so that the compacted
coffee remains smooth and glossy;
•
Return the lever to the at-rest
position.
