Transport
WARNING
■ The telescoping wand may tip over or
move during transport. Persons may
be injured or property may be dam‐
aged.
► Lock the spray gun trigger.
► Secure the telescoping wand with
lashing straps, belts or a net to
prevent it tipping over and moving.
Storage
WARNING
■ Children are not aware of and cannot
assess the dangers of a telescoping
wand. Children may be seriously
injured.
► Store the telescoping wand out of
the reach of children.
■ The metal parts can corrode if they
are damp. This can damage the tele‐
scoping wand.
► Store the telescoping wand in a
clean and dry condition.

Cleaning, maintenance and repair
WARNING
■ Harsh detergents, cleaning with a
water jet or sharp objects can dam‐
age the telescoping wand. If the tele‐
scoping wand is not cleaned cor‐
rectly, components may no longer
function properly or safety devices
may be rendered inoperative. People
may be seriously injured.
► Clean the telescoping wand as
described in this User Manual.
■ If the telescoping wand is not serv‐
iced or repaired correctly, compo‐
nents may no longer function properly
or safety devices may be rendered
inoperative. Persons may be seri‐
ously injured or killed.
► Do not attempt to service or repair
the telescoping wand.
► If the telescoping wand needs to
be serviced or repaired: Contact
your STIHL authorized dealer for
assistance.
Attaching and detaching the
telescoping wand
Attaching the telescoping wand,
► Slide the connector into the spray
gun.
The connector must engage with an
audible click.
► If the connector does not slide easily
into the spray gun: Lubricate the gas‐
ket on the connector with grease for
fittings.
Removing the telescoping wand,
► Depress the locking lever and hold it
in that position.
► Pull out the connector.
