FUSE REPLACEMENT
WARNING:
To avoid electric shock, disconnect the test leads
from any source of voltage before removing the fuse/battery door.
To avoid electric shock, do not operate the meter until the fuse/
battery door is in place and fastened securely.
Always use fuses of the proper size and rating:
1. Disconnect the test leads from the meter and any item under test.
2. Open the fuse/battery door by loosening the screw on the door using
a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Remove the old fuse from its holder by gently pulling it out.
4. Install the new fuse into the holder.
5. Always use a fuse of the proper size and rating:
200mA range: Ceramic 0.2A/250V fast blow 5mm x 20mm
10A range: Ceramic 10A/250V fast blow 5mm x 20mm.
6. Put the fuse/battery door back in place. Insert and securely tighten
the screws.
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
1. Repairs or servicing not covered in this manual should only be
performed by qualified personnel.
2. Periodically wipe the case with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasives or
solvents on this instrument.

Limited Warranty
This meter is warranted to the original purchaser against defects in material and
workmanship for 1 years from the date of purchase. During this warranty period,
RS Components will, at its option, replace or repair the defective unit, subject to
verification of the defect or malfunction. This warranty does not cover fuses,
disposable batteries, or damage from abuse, neglect, accident, unauthorized
repair, alteration, contamination, or abnormal conditions of operation or handling.
Any implied warranties arising out of the sale of this product, including but not
limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose,
are limited to the above. RS Components shall not be liable for loss of use of the
instrument or other incidental or consequential damages, expenses, or economic
loss, or for any claim or claims for such damage, expense or economic loss. Some
states or countries laws vary, so the above limitations or exclusions may not
