Operation
1. Connect to the mains power supply.
2. Switch on the hair straightener using the on/off switch
(Fig. 2ⓐ). The LED display is red.
3. Select the desired temperature (150°C – 230°C).
·
To increase the temperature, move the temperature
controller in a clockwise direction (Fig. 3ⓐ).
·
To reduce the temperature, move the temperature
controller in an anticlockwise direction (Fig. 3ⓑ).
4. Once the operating temperature has been reached, the LED
display flashes.
5. After using the hair straightener, switch it off using the on/off
switch (Fig. 2ⓑ). The LED display goes out.
6. Disconnect from the mains.
7. Allow the hair straightener to cool down.
Operation
Tips for successful styling
1. Wash and rinse the hair well.
2. Dry the hair.
3. Brush or comb the hair.
4. Section off individual strands of hair.
5. At the hairline, place a section of hair between the heating
plates.
6. Keep the hair straightener pressed together and slowly pull it
down the section of hair and away from the head.
f Do not leave the sections of hair in the hair straight-
ener for more than a few seconds, otherwise this
could damage the hair.
f Only increase temperature gradually.
7. Open the hair straightener and allow the section of hair to
slip out.
8. Repeat this process until the desired result has been achieved.
Maintenance
Warning! Injuries and material damage due to incor-
rect handling.
f Switch off the hair straightener before cleaning it or
performing any maintenance. Disconnect the hair
straightener from the power supply.
f Allow the hair straightener to cool down completely.
Cleaning and care
Danger! Electric shock due to penetration of liquid.
f Do not immerse the hair straightener in water!
f Do not allow any liquid to get inside the appliance.
Caution! Danger from aggressive chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals could damage the hair straightener
and accessories.
f Never use solvents or scouring agents.
f Only wipe the hair straightener with a soft cloth, which may be
dampened slightly.
Problem elimination
Hair straightener does not heat up.
Cause: Defective power supply.
f Make sure that contact between the mains and the socket is
faultless. Check the mains cable for possible damage.
