large amount of oil will leak onto the base of
the basket. This grease produces white smoke
and will also make the basket hotter than
usual. This does not affect the fryer or the
result.
White smoke is caused by grease heating up
in the basket drawer. Make sure you clean the
device properly after each use.
Use fresh potatoes and make sure they stay
put during frying.
Rinse the potato sticks properly to remove the
starch.
