Cleaning the rangetop surface
You should clean up spills immediately.

1. Turn off all burners.
2. When the grates have cooled
sufficiently, remove them.
3. Clean the rangetop surface with a
soft cloth. If spills run into gaps in the
burner components, remove the burner
gaps and head, and wipe up the spills.
4. When finished cleaning, reassemble the
burners, and reposition the grates.
