Replacement

Commissioning may only be carried out by qualified
electrical or pneumatic personnel or an instructed person
under the direction and supervision of qualified personnel
(see "Personnel qualifications" on page 53).
Risk of uncontrolled actuator movements when the
pneumatics are switched on
Danger of injury if the system is in an undefined state or the
manual overrides are set to position "1".

Put the system in a defined state before switching it on.

Set all manual overrides to position "0".

Make sure that no personnel are within the hazardous
zone when the pressure is switched on.
1. Switch on the operating voltage.
2. Check the LED displays on the module (see "Diagnosis with
the LEDs of the bus coupler" on page 74).
3. Switch on the compressed air supply.
8 Replacement
A faulty bus coupler may have to be replaced with a new one.
You may also replace a multipole plug of a CL03/CL03-XL valve
system with a bus coupler.
The AVENTICS warranty only applies to the delivered
configuration and extensions taken into account in the
configuration. The warranty no longer applies after a
conversion that exceeds these extensions.
