3. Assign an appropriate IP address and subnet mask
(example: IP address: 192.168.0.3, subnet mask:
255.255.255.0)
You can manually enter the IP address and subnet mask in
the PLC configuration program or have them assigned
automatically.
4. Assign the device names.
This name may only appear once in the system
configuration. It may be maximum 240 characters long and
must comply with the following DNS conventions:
W
Letters, numbers, hyphens and periods are permitted.
Umlauts and other special characters are not permitted.
W
The device name may not begin with a number.
W
The device name may not begin or end with a hyphen.
W
The device name may not begin with the character string
"port-x" (x = 0–9).
Example: AVENTICS CL03
A name is not assigned on delivery.
The IP address, subnet mask, and device name are transferred
to the bus coupler after you assign them.

connected correctly:
