Starting up and using the machine

WARNING
Risk of accident if the machine is operated us-
ing unauthorised voltages or frequencies.
f The mains voltage and the frequency of the
power source must correspond with the
specifications on the machine's name plate.
f In North America, only Festool machines with
the voltage specifications 120 V/60 Hz may
be used.
WARNING
Risk of accident, electric shock
f Always pull the plug out of the socket before
performing any type of work on the machine.
f Always switch the machine off before connect-
ing or disconnecting the mains power cable!.
CAUTION
Inhaling the dust may damage the respiratory
tract.
f When working with dust, you must wear re-
spiratory protection.
LThe network voltage must conform to the voltage
indicated on the rating plate. A 16 A safety use (for
120 V) or a corresponding protective circuit-breaker
is required.
