Storing stations

Storing stations manually
u
Select the desired memory bank (FM1,
FM2, FMT) or the wavebands AM.
u
Tune into the desired station.
u
Press and hold down one of the station
1–6 buttons ; for longer than 2
seconds to assign the station to that
button.
Storing stations automatically
(Travelstore)
You can automatically store the six stations
offering the strongest reception in the
region. The stations are stored in the FMT
or AM memory bank, depending on preset
waveband.
Note:
Any stations that were previously
stored in this memory bank are deleted
in the process.
u
Choose the frequency range, for which
you would like to set up a Travelstore.
u
Press and hold down the BND•TS
button 6 for longer than 2 seconds.
The storing procedure begins. "FM
TRAVELSTORE" or "AM TRAVELSTORE"
appears on the display. After the process
has completed, the radio will play the
station stored in memory location 1 of the
previously selected memory bank.

Listening to stored stations

u
Select the memory bank or waveband.
u
Press one of the station 1 - 6 buttons

The stored station is played if it can be
received.
Scanning receivable stations
(SCAN)
You can use the scan function to play all the
receivable stations briefl y. You can set the
scanning time in the menu to between 5
and 30 seconds.
Starting SCAN
u
Press and hold down the MENU button
9 for longer than 2 seconds.
Scanning begins.
"SCAN" appears briefl y in the display
followed by a fl ashing display of the current
station name or frequency.
Cancelling the SCAN and continuing to
listen to a station
Press the MENU button 9.
u
Scanning stops and the radio continues
playing the station that it tuned into last.
