To lubricate the link rod

1. There are 2 grease nipples, one on each side of the
link rod. Lubricate with a grease gun until grease
comes out.
If you cannot find a solution to your problems in this
manual, speak to your Husqvarna service agent.
Problem
The starter motor does not turn the
engine over
The engine does not start when the

Troubleshooting

Cause
The parking brake is not applied. Refer to
brake on page 20 .
The lift lever for the cutting deck is in mow position. Refer to
ting deck on page 17 .
The main fuse is blown. Refer to
The ignition lock is defective.
The connection between the cable and the battery is bad. Refer to
safety on page 13 .
The battery is too weak. Refer to
The starter motor is defective.
There is no fuel in the fuel tank. Refer to
The spark plug is defective.
The ignition cable is defective.
There is dirt in the carburetor or fuel line (P 524).
There is dirt in the fuel line (P 524EFI).
