Operation "BALANCE WITH RUN OUT"
As soon as run-out is measured, screen shows key (1,
Fig. 5-19); press it to open the charts referred to the
just-performed run-out reading.
Instance when run-out is "within range": (Fig. 5-20) all
values are green and the screen shows "OK".
Instance when run-out is "out of range": (Fig. 5-21)
any "out of range" value is highlighted in orange and
pressing key (1, Fig. 5-21) will open radial run-out
chart; to view rim run-out chart press keys (2, Fig.
5-21).
All ACCESS TO CHARTS pages indicate the Peak
st
index of the 1
harmonic (1, Fig. 5-22), which helps the
operator perform advanced diagnosis of rim or wheel.
Details on run-out (run-out fi rst harmonic) are displayed
below the chart.
Act: Run-out value at the position of the chart where
the cursor currently is, corresponding to the 12 o'clock
position of the wheel.
P-P: peak-to-peak value is the difference between
maximum and minimum value.
