Set the main power switch to position
When doing so, be sure not to press the release button
(8) or button D (7).
Following switch-on, a self-test executes. A short acous-
tic signal is then emitted and a a 3-digit software status
display appears. Then the standby indicator lamp (2)
starts flashing and the selected exposure time lights up.
After approx. 20 sec. have elapsed, the standby indica-
tor lamp lights up continuously.
When the Digital mode indicator also lights up, the dig-
ital radiographic technique is selected (see next page).
The unit is ready for operation.

NOTE
If an error is detected during the self-test, a number rang-
ing from 1 to 4 will appear on the digital display. (see
chapter entitled "List of error codes").
The LED (2) then flashes.
The unit is not ready for operation!
Switch the unit OFF and ON again.

If the same error occurs again, please contact your serv-
ice technician.
