exactly at the spot where the music starts, it is
not at the time index 00:00:00. This spot is
automatically memorized as starting point.
After starting the title it is possible to jump
back to the starting point with button CUE (13).

single title reproduction is activated (automati-
cally after switching on the CD player)
f bargraph; the length of the bargraph indicates
the remaining time of a title [indication

4 Buttons PITCH BEND for synchronizing the beat
of a title on player mechanism 1 to that of a title
4 Tasten PITCH BEND zur Synchronisation des
Taktes eines Titels auf dem Laufwerk 1 an den
eines Titels auf dem Laufwerk 2 oder umgekehrt;
solange eine der Tasten gedrückt gehalten wird,
läuft der Titel 16 % schneller bzw. langsamer als
mit Standardgeschwindigkeit
5 Taste OPEN/CLOSE zum Öffnen und Schließen
der CD-Schublade [wie Taste OPEN/CLOSE (20)
an der Laufwerkeinheit]; während des Abspielens
einer CD ist die entsprechende CD-Schublade
gegen unbeabsichtigtes Öffnen verriegelt
6 Taste CONT./SINGLE zum Umschalten zwi-
schen Einzel- und Gesamttitelwiedergabe
Nach dem Einschalten ist die Einzeltitelwieder-
gabe aktiviert [Anzeige „SINGLE" (e)]. Am Ende
eines Titels schaltet das Gerät auf Pause. Wird
die Taste CONT. / SINGLE betätigt, erscheint die
Anzeige „CONTINUE" (c), und nach dem Ende
eines Titels wird automatisch der nächste Titel
gespielt.
7 Taste TIME zur Umschaltung der Display-Zeitan-
zeige und zum Einschalten der Funktion OUTRO
Grundeinstellung: Anzeige der Restzeit des lau-
fenden Titels
1. Tastendruck:
Anzeige der bereits gespiel-
ten Zeit des laufenden Titels
2. Tastendruck:
Anzeige der Restzeit des lau-
fenden Titels und Einschalten
der Funktion OUTRO zum
Abspielen der jeweils letzten
30 Sekunden der folgenden
Titel (diese Funktion ist erst
ab dem nächsten Titel aktiv,
eventuell
drücken)
3. Tastendruck:
Anzeige der Restzeit der ge-
samten CD; die Funktion
OUTRO ist wieder deaktivert

Grundeinstellung
8 Taste PITCH zum Aktivieren der mit dem Regler
(17) eingestellten Geschwindigkeitsabweichung
on player mechanism 2 or vice versa; as long as
one of the button is kept pressed, the playing
speed of the title is 16 % quicker or slower than
the standard speed
5 Button OPEN/CLOSE for opening and closing
the CD drawer [same as button OPEN/CLOSE
(20) of the player mechanism unit]; while replay-
ing a CD, the corresponding CD drawer is locked
against unintentional opening
6 Button CONT./SINGLE for switching between
single and total title replay.
After switching on, the single title replay is acti-
vated [indication "SINGLE" (e)]. At the end of a
title the unit switches to pause. If button CONT./
SINGLE is pressed, the indication "CONTINUE"
(c) is shown, and after the end of a title the next
title is played automatically.
7 Button TIME for switching the time indication of
the display and for switching on function OUTRO
basic adjustment:
indication of the remaining time of the current
title
1st pressing of button:
indication of the time already played of the
current title
2nd pressing of button:
indication of the remaining time of the current
title and switching on of function OUTRO for
replaying the last 30 seconds of each of the
following titles (this function is only active from
the next title on, if necessary, press button

CD; the function OUTRO is deactivated again

switching back to the basic adjustment
8 Button PITCH for activating the deviation of the
speed, adjusted with the control (17)
9 Button DTA SELECT for switching of the numeri-
cal keys (18) for player mechanism 1; the LEDs
above the buttons DTA SELECT show which
player mechanism will at present respond when
selecting the title with the numerical keys
