Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Gerät WASH-25 ist besonders für den profes-
sionellen Einsatz auf der Bühne und in Diskotheken
geeignet. Es projiziert einen 26°-Lichtkegel, dessen
Farbe, Helligkeit und Abstrahlwinkel sich fernge-
steuert verändern lassen. Bei aktivierter Strobo-
skop-Funktion erzeugt es 1 bis 10 Blitze pro Sek.
(einstellbar). Die Steuerung des Gerätes kann über
das integrierte Mikrofon, über die Fernbedienung
LC-3 (separat als Zubehör erhältlich) oder über ein
DMX-Lichtsteuergerät erfolgen.

Halogenlampe einsetzen
Das Gerät wird ohne Leuchtmittel geliefert. Benötigt
wird eine Reflektor-Halogenlampe mit folgenden
Spezifikationen:
24 V/250 W, Typ MR 16 mit Sockel GX 5,3 (z. B.
HLG-24/250MR oder HLP-24/250L aus dem Sorti-
ment von „img Stage Line").
Auf keinen Fall darf eine Lampe mit einer höhe-
ren Leistungsangabe als 250 W verwendet werden!
Vorsicht!
Ziehen Sie vor dem Einsetzen bzw. Herausneh-
men der Halogenlampe unbedingt den Netz-
stecker! Da Halogenlampen im Betrieb sehr heiß
werden, lassen Sie die Lampe nach Betrieb des
Gerätes erst abkühlen (Abkühlzeit mindestens
15 Minuten), bevor Sie sie auswechseln.
1) Die Abdeckung (9) für das Lampenfach ab-
schrauben. Im Fach befindet sich die Lampen-
halterung (Abb. 4).
2) Die Halogenlampe in die Halterung stecken und
den Lampenanschluss aufstecken (Abb. 5). Da-
rauf achten, dass die Lampe zentriert in der Hal-
terung sitzt.
3) Die Abdeckung wieder festschrauben. Das Gerät
nie ohne Abdeckung in Betrieb nehmen. Ein
direkter Blick in die brennende Halogenlampe
kann durch die hohe Helligkeit und die UV-Strah-
lung zu Augenschäden führen.

Applications
The unit WASH-25 is especially suited for profes-
sional applications on stage and in discos. It projects
a 26° light cone, the colour, brightness, and radiation
angle of which can be changed by remote control.
With activated stroboscopic function it generates 1
to 10 flashes per second (adjustable). The control of
the unit can be made via the integrated microphone,
via the remote control LC-3 (separately available as
an accessory), or via a DMX light control unit.

Inserting a Halogen Lamp
The unit is supplied without lamp. A reflector halogen
lamp is required with the following specifications:
24 V/250 W, type MR 16 with base GX 5,3 (e. g.
HLG-24/250MR or HLP-24/250L from the "img
Stage Line" product range).
Never use a lamp with a higher wattage than
250 W!
Caution!
Prior to inserting or removing the halogen lamp dis-
connect the mains plug in any case! As halogen
lamps become very hot during operation, let the
lamp first cool down after operation of the unit (cool-
ing down time at least 15 minutes) before replacing
it.

Montage
Das Gerät kann auf einer festen, ebenen Fläche auf-
gestellt werden. Es lässt sich aber auch kopfüber an
einer Traverse montieren. Dazu kann der beilie-
gende Montagebügel verwendet werden. Den Bügel
mit den beiliegenden Montageschrauben an der
Bodenplatte festschrauben. Die Montagestelle muss
ausreichend stabil sein und eine Last von min. 15 kg
pro Gerät tragen können.
Wichtig!
1. Zur Vermeidung von Wärmestaus im Gerät muss
die Montagestelle so gewählt werden, dass bei
Betrieb eine ausreichende Luftzirkulation ge-
währleistet ist. Das Gerät muss einen Mindest-
abstand von 1 m zu angrenzenden Flächen
haben und die Lüftungsöffnungen am Gehäuse
dürfen auf keinen Fall abgedeckt werden.
2. Achten Sie auch unbedingt auf einen ausrei-
chenden Abstand zu leicht entflammbaren oder
hitzeempfindlichen Materialien.
3. Wird das Gerät als schwebende Last über Per-
sonen installiert, muss es zusätzlich gesichert
werden (z. B. durch ein Fangseil). Die beilie-
gende Schrauböse dient zur Befestigung eines
Fangseils. Die Öse in die M8-Gewindebuchse in
der Mitte der Bodenplatte schrauben oder, wenn
der beiliegende Montagewinkel verwendet wird,
die Öse anstelle einer Montageschraube fest
hineinschrauben. An die Schrauböse ein Fang-
seil anbringen. Das Fangseil so befestigen,
dass der Fallweg des Gerätes nicht mehr als
20 cm betragen kann.
1) Screw off the cover (9) for the lamp compartment.
The lamp support is located in the compartment
(fig. 4).
2) Put the halogen lamp into the support and mount
the lamp connection (fig. 5). Make sure that the
lamp is centrally fitted in the support.
3) Retighten the cover. Never set the unit into oper-
ation without cover. A direct view into the lit halo-
gen lamp may lead to eye damage by the high
brightness and the UV radiation.

Mounting
The unit may be set up on a firm, even surface. How-
ever, it can also be mounted upside down to a trav-
erse. For this purpose the supplied mounting bracket
may be used. Tighten the bracket with the supplied
mounting screws to the bottom plate. The mounting
place must be of sufficient stability and be capable of
carrying a load of 15 kg per unit as a minimum.
Important!
1. To prevent heat accumulation within the unit, the
mounting place must be selected in such a way
that a sufficient air circulation will be ensured
during operation. The unit must have a mini-
mum distance of 1 m to adjoining surfaces and
the air vents at the housing must not be covered
in any case.
2. Pay in any case attention to a sufficient distance
to easily flammable material or material sensi-
tive to heat.
3. If the unit is installed as a suspended load
above persons, it must additionally be secured
(e. g. by a safety rope). The supplied lug for
screwing serves to fasten a safety rope. Screw
the lug into the M8 thread jack in the centre of
the bottom plate or, if the supplied mounting
bracket is used, tightly screw in the lug instead
of a mounting screw. Attach a safety rope to the
lug. Fix the safety rope in such a way that the
maximum falling distance of the unit is 20 cm.

Bedienung
Das beiliegende Netzkabel an die Netzbuchse (11)
anschließen und den Stecker in eine Steckdose
(230 V~/50 Hz) stecken. Dadurch ist das Gerät ein-
geschaltet. Der Schwenkkopf und alle Steuermotoren
fahren in eine definierte Ausgangsstellung. Während-
dessen wird im Display (2) die Software-Version
angezeigt. Danach ist das Gerät betriebsbereit. Zum
Ausschalten des Gerätes den Netzstecker ziehen.
Um einen besseren Bedienkomfort zu erhalten,
ist es empfehlenswert, das Gerät an eine Steckdose
anzuschließen, die sich über einen Lichtschalter
ein- und ausschalten lässt.
6.1 Musiksteuerung
1) Um den WASH-25 über das integrierte Mikrofon
(13) zu steuern, den Eingang DMX IN (14) nicht
anschließen. Wenn an ihm kein DMX-Steuersig-
nal anliegt, leuchtet die gelbe LED MASTER (6)
und das Display (2) signalisiert
oder
(Show 2).
2) Die Betriebsart Show 1 ist für die Aufstellung des
Gerätes auf dem Fußboden vorgesehen. Der
Rotationswinkel um die waagerechte Achse
beträgt hierbei max. 210°. Bei der Betriebsart
Show 2, die für die Deckenmontage vorgesehen
ist, beträgt der Winkel max. 90°.
a) Zum Umschalten zwischen Show 1 und 2 die
Taste MENU (3) zweimal drücken, so dass im
Display
(show mode) erscheint.
b) Die Taste ENTER (5) drücken. Das Display
blinkt.
c) Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP (4) zwischen
für Show 1 und
schalten.
d) Zum Speichern die Taste ENTER drücken.
Das Display zeigt für einige Sekunden
Danach erscheint wieder die gewählte Be-
triebsart und der Programmablauf startet.
Wird die Taste ENTER nicht innerhalb von
8 Sekunden betätigt, schaltet das Gerät auf
die vorherige Einstellung zurück.

Operation
Connect the supplied mains cable to a mains socket
(11) and the plug to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
Thus, the unit is switched on. The panning head and
all control motors go to a defined initial position.
While doing this, the display (2) shows the software
version. Then the unit is ready for operation. To
switch off the unit, disconnect the mains plug.
For a more convenient operation it is recom-
mended to connect the unit to a mains socket which
can be switched on and off via a light switch.
6.1 Music control
1) To control the WASH-25 via the integrated micro-
phone (13), do not connect the input DMX IN
(14). If no DMX control signal is present at this
input, the yellow LED MASTER (6) lights up and
the display (2) signalizes
(Show 2).
2) The operating mode Show 1 is provided for plac-
ing the unit on the floor. The rotating angle
around the horizontal axis is 210° as a maximum.
With the operating mode Show 2 provided for
ceiling mounting, the angle is 90° as a maximum.
