8.2 Startadresse und
Anzahl der DMX-Kanäle einstellen
Um das Lichteffektgerät mit einem Lichtsteuergerät
bedienen zu können, muss die DMX-Startadres se
für den ersten DMX-Kanal eingestellt werden. Ist
z. B. am Steuergerät die Adresse 17 für die Steue-
rung der Schwenkkopfdrehung vorge sehen, am
TWIST-150 die Start adresse 17 einstellen.
Die anderen Funktionen des Geräts sind dann
automatisch den 10 folgenden Kanälen (in diesem
Beispiel 18 – 27) zugeordnet. Als nächstmögliche
Startadresse für das folgende DMX-gesteuerte
Gerät könnte dann bei diesem Beispiel die Adresse
28 verwendet werden. (Im 8-Kanal-Modus werden
nur 8 DMX-Kanäle belegt, d. h. als nächstmögliche
Startadresse für das folgende DMX-gesteuerte
Gerät ergibt sich dann die Adresse 25.)
1) Die DMX-Startadresse einstellen:
a) Die Taste MENU (2) einmal dru ̈ cken, sodass
im Display (1)
erscheint. Mit dem Drü-
cken der nächsten Taste nie länger als
8 Sekunden warten, sonst wird der Einstell-
vorgang beendet.
b) Die Taste ENTER (4) dru ̈ cken. Die einge-
stellte Adresse wird angezeigt.
c) Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP (3) die Adresse
einstellen und mit der Taste ENTER speichern.
2) Die Anzahl der DMX-Kanäle einstellen, die zum
Steuern des Gerätes benutzt werden sollen.
a) Die Taste MENU so oft dru ̈ cken, bis im Dis-
play
(Channel Mode) erscheint.
b) Die Taste ENTER dru ̈ cken. Die Anzahl der
DMX-Kanäle wird angezeigt.
c) Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP die Anzahl der
DMX-Kanäle einstellen (
mit der Taste ENTER speichern.
3) Zum Ausblenden des Menu ̈ s die Taste MENU
gedru ̈ ckt halten, bis das Display auf die Start-
adresse oder auf die gewählte Showprogramm-
nummer zuru ̈ ckschaltet oder ca. 8 s warten.
8.2 Adjusting the start address and
the number of DMX channels
For operating the light effect unit with a light control-
ler, adjust the DMX start address for the first DMX
channel. If e. g. on the controller the address 17 is
provided for controlling the pan motion of the pan
head, adjust the start address 17 on the TWIST-150.
Then the other functions of the unit are auto mati-
cally assigned to the following 10 channels (in this
example 18 to 27). As the next possible start
address for the following DMX-controlled unit, the
address 28 could be used for this example. (In the
8-channel mode only 8 DMX channels are reserved,
i. e. as the next possible start address for the follow -
ing DMX-controlled unit the address 25 will result.)
1) Adjusting the DMX start address:
a) Press the button MENU (2) once so that the
display (1) will show
. Never wait for more
than 8 seconds to press the next button, other-
wise the adjusting procedure will be stopped.
b) Press the button ENTER (4). The adjusted
address will be displayed.
c) With the button DOWN or UP (3), adjust the
address and memorize it with the button
ENTER.
2) Adjust the number of DMX channels which are to
be used for controlling the unit.
a) Press the button MENU so many times until
the display shows
(Channel Mode).
b) Press the button ENTER. The number of DMX
channels is displayed.
c) Adjust the number of the DMX channels (
or
) with the button DOWN or UP and
memorize it with the button ENTER.
3) To exit the menu, keep the button MENU pressed
until the display switches back to the start
address or to the selected show programme
number or wait for approx. 8 s.

empfangen werden, leuchtet die rote LED DMX

Der TWIST-150 kann nun mit dem DMX-Steuer-
gerät bedient werden.
Um durch Öffnen der Blende den Lichtstrahl
freizugeben, den DMX-Kanal 3 (im 8-Kanal-
Modus) bzw. den DMX-Kanal 9 (im 11-Kanal-
Modus) auf einen DMX-Wert zwischen 8 und 15
oder auf 255 einstellen (
5) Durch Drehen des Objektivs (7) die Lichtmuster
scharf stellen.
9 Weitere Funktionen
9.1 Korrekturwerte einstellen (Offset-Modus)
Zur Feinjustierung der Schwenkkopfposition sowie
des Farb- und des Goborads können Korrekturwerte
eingestellt werden. Sollen mehrere TWIST-150 syn-
chron über dieselben DMX-Adressen gesteuert wer-
den, lassen sich z. B. Abweichungen der Lichtstrahl-
richtung minimieren.
1) Die Taste MENU (2) drücken. Das Display (1)
zeigt
nächsten Taste nie länger als 8 Sekunden war-
ten, sonst wird der Einstellvorgang beendet.
2) Die Taste ENTER (4) ca. 5 Sekunden gedrückt
halten, bis das Display auf
Schwenkkopf fährt in die senkrechte Position
(vertikal 0°) und der Lichtstrahl wird abgeblendet.
3) Die Taste ENTER erneut betätigen. Die Blende
gibt den Lichtstrahl frei und im Display blinkt

9 Further Functions
9.1 Adjusting the correction values
(offset mode)
For fine adjustment of the pan head position and the
colour and gobo wheels, correction values can be
adjusted. For synchronous control of several
TWIST-150 via the same DMX addresses it is e. g.
possible to minimize deviations of the light beam
direction.
1) Press the button MENU (2). The display (1)
shows
8 seconds to press the next button, otherwise the
adjusting procedure will be stopped.
2) Keep the button ENTER (4) pressed for approx.
5 seconds until the display changes to
pan head goes to the vertical position (0°) and the
light beam is extinguished.
3) Press the button ENTER again. The shutter
releases the light beam and
display.
4) If a horizontal beam direction is more suitable for
a further adjustment, press the button ENTER
(several times).

wird das Einstellmenü automatisch verlassen.
9.2 Selbsttest
Für den Selbsttest des Gerätes stehen drei Pro-
gramme zur Verfügung. Die Taste MENU (2) so oft
dru ̈ cken, bis im Display (1) das gewünschte Test-
programm angezeigt wird:
Kurztest
Zum Starten die Taste ENTER (4) drücken. Wäh-
rend des Testdurchlaufs blinkt im Display
Ende des Tests wird kurz
