How to fi t stick-on weights on the left side of
the rim channel
— Clean the application point before applying the
stick-on weight.
— Fit stick-on weights on the left side of the rim
channel (
5.9).

Application of hidden stick-on weights
The measured values and the positioning arrows for
the two correction positions behind the spokes are
given on the right of the Indications Field (Figure
5-29a).
— Turn the wheel to move one of the split imbalances,
on the right side (A, Figure 5-31) into the
compensation position (green arrows), then lock
the wheel with the brake pedal.
— Clean the application point before fi xing the stick-on
weight.
— Apply the balance weight at the indicated point (in
the example 55 grams, A, Figure 5-31).
— Turn the wheel to reach the remaining split weights
compensation position on the right side, then lock
the wheel with the brake pedal.
— Having cleaned the area affected, apply, behind the
second spoke, the weight of the value indicated (in
the example 5 grams, B, Figure 5-31).
Note:
Applying split weights does not involve priorities.
The operator can choose which to apply fi rst.
