10.5 Replacing the drive end
block
F End blocks are supplied as
complete assembly kits.
Switch off the power supply!
F Before relieving the tension on the
toothed belt, read the section "Tensioning
the toothed belt" ! 11.
F Before removing the end block,
relieve the tension on the toothed
belt ! 10.4.
• Remove the cover (if present).
• Remove the four socket head cap
screws (2).
• Remove the clamping piece from the
toothed belt (1).
• Carefully pull of the end block.
• Insert the toothed belt in the new end
block.
• Re-attach the clamping piece to the
toothed belt and slide the toothed belt
into the belt guide.
• Using straight pins (3), align the end
block with the frame and push it home.
Screw it down with four socket head
cap screws (2).
• Re-attach the toothed belt to the car-
riage using the clamping piece.
• Start up the toothed belt, following the
instructions given in "Tensioning the
toothed belt" ! 11.
• Fasten the new cover (if present) to
the end block.
10.5 Recambio del cabezal de
accionamiento
F Los cabezales se suministran com-
pletos, como un grupo de componentes.
¡ Interrumpir el suministro eléc-
trico!
F Antes de destensar la correa
dentada véase el capítulo "Tensado de la
correa dentada" ! 11.
F Antes del desmontaje del cabezal
se deberá destensar la correa dentada
! 10.4.
• De ser necesario quitar la protección.
• Aflojar los cuatro tornillos cilíndricos
(2).
• Retirar la pieza de apriete de la correa
dentada.
• Retirar con cuidado el cabezal.
• Introducir la correa dentada en el
cabezal nuevo.
• Atornillar nuevamente la pieza de
apriete en la correa dentada e intro-
ducir la última por los guiados.
• Alinear el cabezal con los pasadores
roscados (3), desplazarlo hasta hacer
tope en el cuerpo principal y atornillar-
lo con cuatro tornillos cilíndricos (2).
• Fijar nuevamente la correa dentada
con la pieza de apriete a la mesa.
• Poner nuevamente en funcionamiento
a la correa dentada como se describe
en el capítulo "Tensado de la correa
dentada" ! 11.
• Fijar la nueva protección (si está
disponible) al cabezal.

F Os cabeçotes são fornecidos
completos sob forma de grupo de com-
ponentes.
Cortar alimentação eléctrica!
F Ver capítulo «Tensionamento da
correia dentada» antes de afrouxar a
correia ! 11.
F Afrouxar a correia dentada antes
da desmontagem do cabeçote ! 10.4.
• Remover a tampa.
• Soltar quatro parafusos de cabeça
cilíndrica (2).
• Remover a peça de fixação (1) da
correia dentada.
• Remover cuidadosamente o cabeçote.
• Introduzir a correia dentada no novo
cabeçote.
• Montar a peça de fixação na correia
dentada e introduzir a correia dentada
na guia.
• Alinhar o cabeçote com as cavilhas
(3), montar até ao batente no corpo
principal e fixar com quatro parafusos
de cabeça cilíndrica (2).
• Fixar a correia dentada à mesa com as
peças de fixação.
• Colocar a correia dentada em fun-
cionamento conforme descrito no
capítulo «Tensionamento da correia
dentada» ! 11.
• Montar a tampa no cabeçote.
