Start the calibration run by pressing the start key 10. Af-
ter completion of the run the following is displayed:
Screw the calibration weight into the threaded recess
on the inside of the adapter
Standard
and press the start key 10 to begin a second run. At the
end of the run, the following is displayed:
Unscrew the calibration weight from the inside of the
adapter and screw it into the same recess on the out-
side of the adapter.
Standard
Begin another run by pressing the start key 10. At the
end of the run, the following is displayed:
Remove the calibration weight and place back into its
storage position. The calculated calibration data is used
and saved in the memory, even after switching off the
machine or after a software update.
The calibration procedure comes to an end and the
machine switches automatically to the normal mode.

F6: Auto run (not for BM 11)
The auto run function enables a measuring run to be
started by closing the wheel guard.
Routine:
Press ENTER key (12) to select the function menu. Use +/-
key (4/5), (6/7) or (8/9) to select the Function 6.
Press ENTER key (12) again to activate the function.
The present setting is shown on the display. The setting
can be changed using the keys 4/5, (6/7) or (8/9).

The setting is con rmed by pressing the key ENTER key

F7: Suppression / Rounding off
The suppression and rounding off of the balance results
can be selected with this function. By suppressing the
minor unbalance readings any results less than 5 grams
will be shown as 0.
Rounding off will display the balance results in multiples
of 5 grams e.g. 32 grams are shown on the display as 30
grams 33 grams are shown as 35 grams.
Routine:
Press ENTER key (12) to select the function menu. Use +/-
key (4/5), (6/7) or (8/9) to select the Function 7.
Press ENTER key (12) again to activate the function.
Using keys 4 or 5 the suppression can be selected in
either 1 gram or 0.1 ounce depending on the previous
function settings.
e.g. suppression up to 5 Grams
By pressing key ENTER key (12) again, the setting is ack-
nowledged and the program returns to the function
„rnd".
e.g. Rounding off 5 Gram
