Basic settings of the machine
Please read and understand the information about the
basic settings and optional settings and how to change
them before using the machine.

Menu function
6.1.1
Choosing the menu functions
The function menu can be entered by pressing key no.
ENTER key 12 and is used to select the basic settings or
change them according to the user's requirements. The
various menu functions from F1 to F13 can be selected
by pressing keys 4 or 5.
In the function menu the keys 4, 6 and 8 have the same
operation as do the keys 5, 7 and 9.
When you are in the function menu, an „Fn" is shown
on the left side of digital display. The chosen function is
shown on the right side of the digital display.
Once a particular function is desired, it can be chosen
by pressing the key 12 again.
F1:
Precision readings
At the end of the balance run the value of the required
weights are shown at 5 gram intervals. By selecting the
precision reading the suppression of the minor balance
reading is switched off and the residual balance left on
the wheel is displayed in single grams.
Routine:
Press ENTER key (12) to select the function menu. Use +/-
key (4/5), (6/7) or (8/9) to select the Function 1.
Press ENTER key (12) again to activate the function.
The balance results will be displayed with the minor sup-
pression shut off (single grams).
The suppression stays off until the next balance run is
started when the program returns to suppression on (5
gram increments).

F2:
Zero run
The Zero run is provided to electrically compensate the
unbalance of the adaptor or clamping means.
Whenever the clamping means has been dismounted
and replaced a compensation of the residual unba-
lance in the adapter and clamping means should be
carried out. The manufacturer's recommendation is for
a zero run to be carried out at the start of the days ba-
lancing work.
Routine:
Standard
Press ENTER key (12) to select the function menu. Use
+/- key (4/5), (6/7) or (8/9) to select the Function 2. Press
ENTER key (12) again to activate the function.
Press START (key 10) to start the run.
The residual unbalance of the adaptor is calculated
and saved in the memory. (This value stays in the memo-
ry even after switching off the power). After the run has
nished, the program automatically changes to normal
mode.
F3:
Measurement units of the unbalance
readings
The user can decide which type of measurement unit to
use for displaying the unbalance with this function.
Routine:
Press ENTER key (12) to select the function menu. Use +/-
key (4/5), (6/7) or (8/9) to select the Function 3.
Press ENTER key (12) again to activate the function.
The LED display shows the actual measurement units
available.
