Function F 12 selects if placement of adhesive wheel
weights is done with the gauge arm (POS) or manually
at the 12 o´clock position (STANDARD).
Switching between the 2 modes is also possible by press
and hold the ALU button for 3 seconds.
Routine:
Press key ENTER key (12) to select the function menu.
Use +/- key (4/5), (6/7) or (8/9) to select the Function 12.
Press ENTER key (12) again to activate the function.
The actual mode is displayed.
The settings can be changed by the use of keys 4 and 5.
Place adhesive wheel weights manually on the
12 o´clock position
Place adhesive wheel weights using the Gauge
arm (only possible in balancing program ALU 2
and ALU 3
F13:
Setting brake (only 30-2 / 40-2 / 50-2)
The correction plane in which the wheel is braked after
the measuring run can be set individually.
Option 1: Brake active for left correction plane
Option 2: Brake active for right correction plane
Option 3: Brake switched off
Routine:
Press ENTER key (12) to select the function menu. Use +/-
key (4/5), (6/7) or (8/9) to select the Function 13.
Press ENTER key (12) again to activate the function.
The actual setting is displayed.

F14 - Automatic Mode (not for BM 11)
Using service function F 14 the "automatic cycle" can
be switched On or OFF (Not for BM 11).
Automatic cycle ON means:
- The wheel will be stopped in the 1st imbalance positi-
on and locked
- After having attached the weights the wheel will be
moved automatically into the 2nd imbalance position
by pressing the STOP / POS button
Automatic cycle OFF means:
- The wheel will be stopped in the 1st imbalance positi-
on and locked
- Does the operator want to move the wheel into the
2nd imbalance position he has to push the STOP but-
ton in order to unlock the brake.
In this case the wheel needs to be moved into the 2nd
position manually and locked there by pushing the
STOP button.
Factory setting is „Automatic cycle ON".
