Press ENTER key (12) again to activate the function.
Extend the inside gauge to the position 1 and hold it
there until an audible signal is heard, which means the
measurement has been accepted:
Position 1
Still in the extended position turn the gauge towards you
into position 2 and hold until an audible signal is hear,
which means the measurement has been accepted:
Position 2
Place the inside gauge back in the home position and
an audible signal should be heard.
Only with machines without an outside gauge
The calibration procedure is complete and the program
returns to normal mode.
Machines with an outside gauge
The procedure carries on and the program requires
the outside arm to be brought down to position 3 after
changing the location of the calibration weight:
Position 3
Hold the outside gauge in this position until an audible si-
gnal is heard, which means the measurement has been
accepted.
Return the outside gauge into the home position and
an audible signal is heard and the program returns to
normal mode.

If any of the gauges are not returned to the home posi-
tion, the following error codes are displayed:
Inside gauge for distance is not in the home
position.
Inside gauge for diameter is not in the home
position.
Outside gauge for width is not in the home
position.
The display will only return to normal mode when all
gauges are in their home positions.
Checking the calibration values:
Mount the calibration weight as described below. Ex-
tend the inside arm to the position 1.
By holding in position and pressing key 4 the actual va-
lue is shown in the display for the distance between the
machine cabinet and the adapter  ange. This should
show a value of 264 mm plus or minus 5 mm. If the cor-
rect value is not displayed, please calibrate again.
F11: Measurement run counter
This function enables the total amount of measurement
runs since commissioning of machine to be counted.
It will also show the amount of measurement runs car-
ried out since the last calibration and the number of
measurement runs since the machine was last switched
on. This information can be used for statistical purposes.
Routine:
Press ENTER key (12) to select the function menu. Use +/-
key (4/5), (6/7) or (8/9) to select the Function 11.
Press ENTER key (12) again to activate the function.
The  rst  gure shown is the total number of measure-
ment runs since commissioning of the machine. The  -
gure shown on the display should be multiplied by 10 to
get the actual value.
After 10 seconds the program will automatically change
to the value since the last calibration and 10 seconds la-
ter it will show the value of the number of measurement
runs since last switching on the machine. Finally it will
change back automatically to normal mode.
