Regulations

The gas instantaneous water heater may only be
installed by an approved technician,
who also assumes the responsibility for installing the
appliance properly and putting it into service for the
first time.
Before the gas instantaneous water heater is installed,
approval must be obtained from the gas supply company.
The gas instantaneous water heater may only be
installed in a sufficiently ventilated room.

4.1

Scope of delivery

– Connection kit consisting of:
– Natural gas connecting piece
– Seals, plugs, screws
4.2

Requirements for the installation site

Please note the following instructions before choosing
where to install the heater:
– The gas instantaneous water heater may only be
installed in a sufficiently ventilated room.
– The wall must be strong enough to bear the weight of
the gas instantaneous water heater during operation.
– The fixings supplied might not meet the requirements
for the wall. In this case, you must obtain the neces-
sary fixings yourself.
– The entire installation site should be frost-proof.
Observe the specified frost protection measures if you
are unable to ensure this requirement.
– Choose an installation location where the pipes (gas
supply, water intake and water outlet) can be easily
laid.
– The use of the gas flow-through water heater in vehi-
cles is prohibited. Units that are not classed as vehi-
cles are those that are installed in a fixed and perma-
nent location (fixed installation).
Caution!
Do not install the gas instantaneous water
heater above an appliance which might damage
it (such as a cooker producing grease vapour),
or in a room with a corrosive or very dusty
atmosphere.
– The gas instantaneous water heater must be connect-
ed via a pipe of the specified diameter (see section 9,
technical data) to a flue system with a natural draught
(chimney).

Note!
It is not necessary to keep a clearance between
the appliance and combustible materials or
components, since at the rated heating power
of the appliance the temperature at the surface
of the housing is always lower than the maxi-
mum allowed temperature of 85 °C.
• Explain these requirements to the customer.
