Preparations before initial operation

Opening the shut-off valves
• Open the gas stop cock on the gas connection (4) of
the appliance by pushing it and turning it anticlock-
wise as far as it will go (a quarter turn).
• Open the shut-off valve on the cold water connection
(3) of the appliance by turning it anticlockwise as far
as it will go (a quarter turn).

Note!
If there is a leak in the hot water pipe between
the appliance and the extraction points, close

the cold water shut-off valve on the appliance

by turning it clockwise (a quarter turn). Have
the leaks repaired by your authorised engineer.

4.3.1 Lighting the pilot flame

• Turn the power switch (6) from the OFF position anti-
clockwise to the ignition position
• Hold the power switch (6) in this position and press
the piezo ignition (2) several times.
