Inspection and maintenance
7.1
Preparing for maintenance
Before servicing the appliance you must remove the
housing, see 4.5.
Before performing the maintenance tasks described
below, first drain the appliance, see section 4.8 on frost
protection in the operating manual.
To clean the appliance you must first remove the burner
and then the heating element. After finishing the work,
put all the parts back on in the reverse order.
Always clean the burners and the heating element.
Note!
Always replace any seals you remove with new
ones (for seal sets, see section 7.7, Spare parts)
7.2
Cleaning the burner
To clean the burner you must first remove it, as well as
possibly the nozzle fitting, if there is too much dust.
7.2.1 Removing the ignition gas filter

• Pull the plug contact of the ignition cable out of the
ignition electrode.
• Undo the screw which fastens the ignition gas fitting
on the burner and take off the ignition gas fitting.
• Undo the nut on the ignition gas pipe on the gas fit-
ting and carefully pull off the ignition gas pipe.

• Pull off the safety thermostat, which is fastened with a
clip to the heating element.
7.2.2 Removing the burner

• Undo the two screws which fasten the burner to the
gas fitting.
• Lift the burner slightly and pull it out towards you.
