• Decontaminate the meter before recycling or disposing. Wipe the outside of the meter with dilution of
bleach solution (one part bleach to nine parts water).
• Users in professional environments (i.e., healthcare professionals) should follow the existing policies and
procedures governing the proper handling and disposal of potentially infectious waste, e-scrap and
batteries.
