Never make treatment decisions based on an error message. If you have any
concerns, call the ACCU-CHEK Customer Care Service Center at 1-800-858-8072.
The meter will not turn on or
the display is blank.
• Battery is dead –
Insert new battery.
• Display is damaged –
Call the ACCU-CHEK

• Extreme temperatures –
Move the meter to room
temperature.
Battery power is low. Change
the battery soon. See Chapter 5,
"Changing the Battery."
The meter is in the set-up mode,
waiting for you to change or
confirm settings. See Chapter 4,
"Meter Setup."
