Use
• Use only solvent-resistant, antistatic, undamaged and technically flaw-
less compressed air hoses with a permanent pressure resistance of
minimum 10 bar / 145 psi, e.g. Art. No. 53090!
The following requirements must be fulfilled:
• Use of a compressed air connection G 1/4 a or of a fitting SATA con-
nection nipple.
• Ensure minimum compressed air volume (air consumption) and pres-
sure (recommended spray gun inlet pressure) according to chapter 2.
• Clean compressed air, i.e. with SATA filter 100, Art. No. 148247,
outside the spray booth or SATA filter 484, Art. No. 92320 in-
side the spray booth
• Use an air hose with minimum 6 mm inner diameter (see warnings),
e.g. Art. No. 53090.
1. Check if all screws [2-1], [2-2], [2-3], [2-4] and [2-5] have been
tightened firmly. Tighten fluid tip [2-1] firmly by hand (12 Nm) accord-
ing to [7-4]. Check if locking screw [2-5] has been firmly tightened
according to [10-1]. Tighten, if necessary.
2. Adjust air cap: vertical spray fan [2-6], horizontal spray fan [2-7].
3. With SATAminijet 1000 K RP/HVLP: Connect the material hose of
the tank or pump to the spray gun material connection.
With SATAminijet 1000 H RP/HVLP: Connect the suction cup,
e.g. SATA RPS 0.3 l cup w/ RPS adapter, to the material connection
[1-3]. When using a RPS 0.3 l suction cup set, first locate the plastic
insert into the neck of the RPS cup lid from above before pressing in
the pick-up tube from underneath ensuring that it is flush with the top
of the insert. Then plug the strainer onto the bottom end of the pick-up
tube prior to connecting the lid to the adapter. Finally, screw the filled
RPS cup onto the cup lid.
4. Screw connection nipple [2-8] onto the air inlet.
5. Connect compressed air hose [2-9].
