■ Adjust the spraying air to the neces-
sary input pressure.
Adjust the material flow
Attention!
Using the material flow control
for dosing can cause wear in the
nozzles.
→ In normal operation, open the
material flow control to the full
extent. → Use the material feed
pressure to adjust the material
flow.
→ Only use the material flow con-
trol to adjust the material flow for
very small material flow rates. (for
variant with material flow control).
Notice!
The grub screw
firmly in the material flow control
and is used for fixing the unit. (for
variant with material flow control).
■ Adjust the material flow with the
material feed pressure.
■ For small material flow rates, fine
adjustment of the material flow can
be achieved by regulating the ma-
terial flow control [1-6]. (for variant
with material flow control).
Adjust spray fan pattern
■ Use the control to adjust the flat fan
by means of the flat fan air pressure.
■ Use the control to adjust the round
fan by means of the round fan air
pressure.

Painting
Notice!
When painting, only use as much
material as is required for the
specific procedure.
When painting, maintain the
necessary spray distance (see
chapter 4).
After painting, store or dispose of
the material correctly.
■ Adjust the necessary spray distance
(see chapter 4).
■ Ensure there is sufficient spraying air
feed and material supply.
■ Use the control air to trigger the con-
trol pulse for painting.
Switch off the automatic gun
■ Switch off the control air.
■ If the spraying process has finished or
a lengthy spraying break is planned,
switch off flat and round fan air after
the material supply and note and fol-
low the care and storage instructions
(see chapter 11).
10. Maintenance and repairs
The following chapter describes the
procedures involved for maintaining
and repairing the automatic gun.
