If blockage occurs:
1. Switch machine OFF.
2. Unplug mains cable.

Safety devices
Retractable blade guard
The retractable blade guard protects
against unintentional contact with the
saw blade and from chips flying about.

The retractable blade guard (20) must
always close automatically: when the
sawhead is fully lifted, the teeth of the
saw blade must be fully covered.
Sawhead lock
The sawhead lock prevents the uninten-
tional lowering of the sawhead onto the
saw table.

The sawhead lock (21) must always
engage when the sawhead is fully lifted
and returned to the rear rest position.
Overload protection
The motor is equipped with a thermal
overload protection, which stops the
motor if it overheats.

Before it can be restarted, the motor
must have cooled off and the reset but-
ton (22) must be pressed.

(24) engages in the transport lock.

To carry, hold at both recessed grips
in the mitre saw's base.

6. Operating Elements
On/Off switch
•
To start motor:
− Press and hold the On/Off switch
(26).
•
To stop motor:
− Release the switch button.

Blade guard lever
With the blade guard lever (27) the
− retractable blade guard is opened
for sawing; and
− the sawhead lock is disengaged, so
the sawhead can be lowered.
