The motors can be used for clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation. The connection example shows the usual
circuit with a right-hand field and an anti-clockwise direction of rotation:

A motor safety switch (overload relay) is absolutely necessary!
Only use thermal trips of tripping categories 10A or 10, with
 tripping time < 10 s at 500 % I
 phase sensitivity,
 temperature compensation from 20 to 40 °C.
 Set the motor protection unit to the value of the operating current measured without exceeding the
rated motor current I (as indicated on the type plate).

 Integrate an overload protector in accordance with
IEC 60099 in the power supply (lightning safety
