WARNING!
Use the union (2, Fig. C5) only for the outlet of air
(to connect inflating device).
Do not connect the compressed air network to this
union: you could break the pneumatic equipment and
the safety devices.

ELECTRIC HOOK UP

Before making any electric hook up, check to be certain that the mains voltage corresponds to what is stamped on the voltage tag
(attached on the feeding cable of the tyre changer).
It is absolutely essential that the system is equipped with a good grounding circuit.
The machine must be connected to a power supply line circuit breaker set for 30mA.
Note the required power draw as highlighted on the tag-plate fixed to the back of the tyre changer.
Check to make sure the shop electric wiring circuit is dimensioned sufficiently to carry this.

FITTING THE BLADE

1) Remove the bolt (3, Fig. C6) and the lock-nut (4, Fig. C6) from the bead
breaker blade, taking care to keep the two shim washers (5, Fig. C6) in place.
2) Fit the blade on the bead breaker arm (see Fig. C6) taking the greatest care
to ensure that the two shim washers are correctly positioned.
3) Fix the blade to the arm using the nut removed earlier and the lock-nut (see
Fig. C6).
HEXAGONAL ARM SPRING INSTALLATION
1) By hand, move the hexagonal arm to the limit (fully up) position, then use the pneumatic push-button control (9 Fig. E) to lock it in this
position.
2) Use a size 6 spanner to undo the screw which fixes the knob (1, Fig. D1).
3) Fit the spring onto the hexagonal post.
4) Press the spring down by hand to allow the knob to be put back onto the rod.
5) Keeping the knob lightly pressed down, fix it by fully tightening the screw
removed earlier (see Fig. D2).
6) Release the hexagonal arm
