Prior to cleaning, a risk as-

sessment must be performed
for the surface to be cleaned
to determine the safety and
health requirements. The re-
spective required protective
measures must be taken.
With short spray lances, there
–
is a risk of injury, as a hand
can accidentally come in con-
tact with the high pressure jet.
If the spray lance is shorter
than 75 cm, you must not use
a point spray nozzle or a rotor
nozzle.
CAUTION
Wear ear plugs if the operat-
–
ing instructions of the appli-
ance (Technical data) men-
tion a noise level of more than
80 dB(A).
Wear protective clothing and
–
safety goggles to protect
against splash back contain-
ing water or dirt.
Do not use the recommended
–
detergents in an undiluted
state. The products are safe
for operations as they do not
contain any environment haz-
ardous substances. If the de-
tergent comes in contact with
the eyes, please rinse the
eyes thoroughly with water
and consult a doctor immedi-
ately if the detergent has
been swallowed.
Let the hoses cool off after
–
hot water operation or oper-
ate the appliance briefly using
cold water.
With appliances with a
hand-arm vibration value >
2.5 m/s (see technical data)

Long hours of using the appli-
ance can cause circulation prob-
lems in the hands on account of
vibrations.
It is not possible to specify a
generally valid operation time,
since this depends on several
factors:
Proneness to blood circula-

tion deficiencies (cold, numb
fingers).
Low ambient temperature.

Wear warm gloves to protect
hands.
A firm grip impedes blood cir-

culation.
Continuous operation is

worse than an operation in-
terrupted by pauses.
In case of regular, long-term op-
eration of the device and in case
of repeated occurrence of the
symptoms (e.g. cold, numb fin-
gers) please consult a physi-
cian.
