technical specifications and our
"Rapid Deliming (Rapid Deliming Device and
Materials)" product information must be ob-
served, as must the information on the solvent
packages.
Before starting operation, check the mains cable
for damage and have it replaced by a specialist if
necessary. Run the BWT L 3000 with only water
first and check all joints for leaks before adding any
solvents.
The BWT L 3000 may not be transported when
full. When transporting solvents, the original sol-
vent packages marked with test numbers must be
used.
Protect the BWT L 3000 from direct sunlight.
Let the device to be delimed (e.g. the boiler) cool
down to a temperature within the working range of
the solvent used or at least to below 55°C.
Wear protective clothing, face screen, gloves and
gas mask. Only use the BWT L 3000 in well venti-
lated rooms!
The BWT L 3000 may only be used with the solvents listed in the table. Use of other solvents
invalidates the warranty.

Remove the cover of the drain opening (8) during
the deliming process to allow developing gases to
escape. Regularly check the safety valve in the
cover (8) by activating it.
Do not work with open flames or candlelight
during the deliming process. Eating and smok-
ing are prohibited.
Note: If more liquid is required (wa-
ter and solvent) than fits in the sol-
vent container of the BWT L 3000,
a stop valve must be integrated into
Warning
the supply line.
Stop valves can be purchased from specialized
dealers.
Never use the BWT L 3000 in a dry run or with-
out supervision.
The integrated overheating protection
device switches off the pump when
the maximum working temperature is
exceeded. The pump restarts automati-
cally after cooling.
If you do not want it to restart, the BWT L 3000
must be switched off after automatic deactivation.
Determine why the maximum temperature was ex-
ceeded and correct the problem (wheel is jammed,
device to be delimed not cool enough, etc.).

The products labeled "Yes"
can be mixed with each

concentration of all sub-
stances is less than 10%
(circulation).
These
statements
apply to the durability of the
BWT L 3000 and not to the
compatibility of mixtures
and inhibitors with one
another.
If other chemicals are
used, the department for
application technique must
be consulted.
