18. Observe the display on the cold water unit. The
fan of the cold water unit starts up at a water
temperature of 15 °C. The fan cuts out again at a
water temperature of 11 °C.
!
If a fault message (e.g.
cancel this by simultaneously pressing (for approx. 5
seconds) the two "Clear" buttons (Pos. 1 and 2).

19. Once the fan of the cold water unit has started up,
check the direction of the air flow. To do so, hold a
sheet of paper in front of the cooling fins of the cold
water unit. The air must flow outwards. If this is not
the case, the rotating field direction of the voltage
network is incorrectly set. The electrical connection
of the EPS 708 must then be checked.
20. Check whether the tank and inlet temperatures drop
to 30 °C on the monitor. If this is not the case, check
the valves at the cold water unit (refer to Section
4.11.2).
21. Exit from the window with <Esc>.
22. Exit from the EPS945 software with <Esc>.
23. Shut down the PC.
24. Switch off the EPS 708 at the master switch.
25. Top up the water in the cold water unit (refer to
Section 4.11.2). This only applies to an EPS 708
with cold water unit.

1. Open the guard.
2. Attach the drive coupling 1 686 401 024 (Pos. 3)
to the flywheel of the EPS 708. Tightening torque:
95 ±2 Nm.
3. Position the high-pressure pump (Pos. 1) on the
clamping bracket and attach to the drive coupling
(Pos. 3).
4. Attach the high-pressure pump to the clamping
bracket by way of the two clamping bolts (Pos. 2).
