WARNING: The machine MUST NOT be
lifted using belts, chains or hooks.
- Load the machine, setting the gear lever to
position F1 to load and to position R1 to
unload. Also set the throttle lever to the
"SLOW" position (A, Fig. 11) to move the
machine slowly.
- The machine must be transported in a
horizontal position, with the tank empty, the
fuel s top - coc k c lo sed, also en su r i n g
compliance with applicable transpor t
regulations for such machines.
- Strap the machine to the vehicle or trailer
using approved tension straps, ensuring that
it is correctly and securely fastened.
WARNING: The parking brake alone does
not guarantee the stability of the
machine during transport.
- During transport, no-one must remain seated
on the machine.
- Before transporting the machine on public
roads, refer to and adhere to applicable local
highway regulations.
- Do not try to load/unload the machine to/
from the means of transport while the
transport box of the machine contains a load.
- Do not allow anyone to stand in front of the
machine while it is loaded/unloaded to/from
a means of transport.
- When getting on or off a ramp, keep the
c raw l e r s i n t h e ce nte r o f t h e ra m p s
themselves.
- When getting on or off the ramps, do not try
to change direction.
- The center of balance of the machine will
change suddenly passing over the seam
between the ramps and the bed of the
transport vehicle. Be prepared for this sudden
change.
7. MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out maintenance, also
carefully read the engine manual.
EMISSIONS COMPLIANCE
This engine, including the emissions control
system, must be operated, used and maintained
in accordance with the instructions provided in
the user's manual in order to maintain the
emissions per formance within the legal
requirements applicable to non-road mobile
machinery.
No deliberate tampering with or misuse of the
engine emissions control system has to take
place.
Incorrect operation, use or maintenance of the
engine or of the non-road mobile machinery
could result in possible malfunctions of the
emissions control system to a point where the
legal requirements applicable are not respected
; in such case a prompt action must be taken in
order to rectify the system's malfunctions and
restore the applicable requirements.
Examples, not exhaustive, of incorrect
operation, use or maintenance are:

Forcing or breaking the devices for
metering the fuel;
-
Use of fuel and/or engine oil not fulfilling
the characteristics shown in the chapter
STARTER / FUELING;
-
Use of not original spare parts, for
example spark plug, etc. ;
-
Missing or improper maintenance of the
exhaust system, including incorrect timing
of maintenance for muffler, spark plug, air
filter, etc.
WARNING – Tampering with this engine
makes the EU emissions certification no
more valid .

7.1 Safety Recommendations

WARNING
- Stop the engine and disconnect the spark
plug cap before any maintenance work.
Always wear safety shoes and protective
gloves.
- Remove any combustible materials from
the work area before doing maintenance.
- Before cleaning or doing maintenance
work, read the relevant instructions. Wear

whenever your hands are at risk.
