The measurement screen of DAB signal parameters shows:
SNR:
•
Signal to Noise Ratio (dB). Measurement range from 0 dB to > 25.5dB.
CODED BER (CBER):
The error level of the received signal is indicated by means of the coded BER
measurement in which the edge of service level is defined (EOS)
selected audio component. So, and as it is indicated on the instrument
measurement screen, the reference values are:
•
< 1.0E-3: optimal reception.
•
From 1.0E-3 to 3.0E-2: good reception.
•
From 3.0E-2 to 6.0E-2: fair reception.
•
From 6.0E-2 to 1.0E-2: poor reception.
•
> 1.0E-1: bad reception.
The numerical value of this measurement also appears on the upper right corner
of the screen.
LOST SYNC:
It states the number of times that is lost the detection of DAB signal in the
specified time. This counter of synchronism losses is reinitiated whenever a new
channel or a frequency is selected.
