4.2.4 Time Weighted Average (TWA) (Figure 12)
The TWA flag will appear in the upper portion of the display to show the average exposure
since the instrument was turned ON or the TWA reading was reset.
When the amount of gas detected by the SIRIUS Multigas Detector is greater than the
eight-hour TWA limit:
•
Alarm Sounds
•
Alarm Lights Flash
•
TWA flashes.
To Reset the TWA:
1. Access the TWA page.
2. Press the RESET/
WARNING!
If the TWA alarm condition is reached while using the instrument as a personal or area
monitor, leave the contaminated area immediately; the ambient gas concentration has
reached the preset TWA alarm level.
4.2.5 Time and Date Display (Figure 13)
The time appears on the display to show the
current time of day in a 24-hour format.
The date appears on the display with the
current date displayed in the following format:
MM:DD:YY
