Important!
Regulations for the prevention of accidents (VBG 87 § 23 –
Germany) require that high-pressure spraying equipment is
tested by a qualified inspector at the time of first
commissioning the equipment, and no less frequently than
every 12 months thereafter. Kärcher Customer Service
engineers are qualified to carry out the prescribed tests on
your system.
The results of the test procedures must be recorded in
writing. A form into which the test results can be entered is
shown in Chapter J: "Test Record".

Using the system for its intended purpose
This system is used for cleaning
n vehicles,
n trailers
with fresh water and added cleaning agents.
Cleaning the following is considered to be contrary to the
intended purpose, and is strictly forbidden:
n Persons and animals.
The high-pressure jet represents a serious injury hazard.
n Loose objects.
Such items could be catapulted away by the high-
pressure jet, causing damage to property or injury to
persons.
Caution!
Risk of damaging the system if it is supplied with unsuitable
water.
If reprocessed industrial water is used to supply the system,
the following specifications must be fulfilled in order to
ensure proper functioning of the system:
n Installation of a prefilter with 80 µm mesh size in the
water supply line
n The water must be free of oils, fats, waxes and fibrous
material.
If these specifications are not complied with, damage will
arise as a result of
n deposits in the continuous-flow heater
n Increased wear on seals, valves...
Kärcher accepts no liability whatsoever for damage which
occurs as a result of non-observance of these instructions.
Claims asserted under the guarantee for these causes are
explicitly excluded.
