Danger!
Injury hazard while working on the system.
Before commencing any work, always
n turn off the water supply by means of the inlet tap.
n Render plant voltage-free by turning off the main on-site
switch and securing it against being switched on again.
Who is permitted to repair faults?
n Operator
Tasks that are marked "Operator" may only be carried out
by persons who have been instructed in the safe
operation and maintenance of high-pressure systems.
n Qualified electricians
Persons who have been professionally trained in an
electrical engineering discipline.
n Customer service
Tasks that are marked "Customer service" should only be
carried out by Kärcher Customer Service engineers.

Fault indication

Following fault indicator lights are installed on the operating

console:
1 Flame monitor, temperature limiter
2 Liquid softener

b. in the display
Malfunctions are shown on the display alternately with the
washing time-credit.

Danger!
Injury hazard due to high pressure jets escaping from
eventually defective components, burns hazard due to hot
components. When working on the opened system proceed
with utmost care and observe all safety instructions.
The following parts could possibly be hot, over 50 °C:
n exhaust gas pipe and exhaust gas vent
n burner with continuous-flow heater
n heating pipe in front of the heater blower
n heating cartridge in the float tank brush pit
n cylinder head of the high-pressure pump(s).
