7.
Shut-down procedure
If the system is to be shut down, and there is no danger of
freezing temperatures,
n turn off the water supply,
n switch off the electricity supply.
7.1. Shut-down in case of frost
If there is a danger of freezing temperatures, any water in the
system must be drained off as well. The procedure is as follows
n empty all float tanks, disconnect all hoses, and wait for
water to drain out,
n disconnect water supply, and apply compressed air at the
inlet to blow out any remaining water. During normal
operation the water also flows through the casing of the
electric motor to cool it down.
n Drain high-pressure pumps by detaching hoses and
allowing water to flow out.
n Screw off high-pressure hoses at pump head and allow
water to drain off.
n Store detergent reservoir and fuel tank in a frost-proof
place.

Important!
Before the system is shut down for a longer period of time,
it should always be flushed through with anti-freeze as this
will also provide protection against corrosion.
