Operating Instructions
Caution!
Danger of frost damage. The sensor of the antifrost
thermostat under any circumstance needs to be fixed at its
designated position.
n Mounting of sensor of anti-frost thermostat (a) therefor
– take sensor through opening in floor
– place it into both mounting brackets at the sides of the
floor
– close brackets
Fitting the swivelling boom (accessory),
n follow enclosed fitting instructions,
n to the LH or RH (SB-HDW S 2 only) side wall of system.
High-pressure hose
n Connect to handgun.
n Connect to high-pressure outlet.
n Connect brush lance to handgun.
n Ensure that all union nuts are hand-tight.

Connecting the water supply

Important!
Dirt and other impurities in the water supply can cause
damage to the system. Kärcher recommends the use of a
water filter, see Chapter G: "Accessories".
In order to guarantee the frost security of the plant the water
supply must be frost protected (e. i. insulation and
accompanying heater).
Caution!
Risk of damaging the system if it is supplied with unsuitable
water.
If reprocessed industrial water is used to supply the system,
the following specifications must be fulfilled in order to
ensure proper functioning of the system:
n Installation of a prefilter with 80 µm mesh size in the
water supply line
n The water must be free of oils, fats, waxes and fibrous
material.
If these specifications are not complied with, damage will
arise as a result of
n deposits in the continuous-flow heater
n Increased wear on seals, valves...
