7.2 - LED signals on a system with a photo-optical edge
7.2.1 - ...During a manoeuvre:
IRW interface signals
• The green LED flashes intermittently until the end of the manoeuvre, indicating
that the leaf is moving.
• When the sensitive edge intervenes, the red LED lights up steadily and goes
off when the edge is disengaged.
• If the battery of a sensor is low, or if the radio signal is weak, the interface
makes a sound (beep) every 3 seconds for the duration of the manoeuvre.
TCW1/2 sensor signals
• When the edge is not pressed:
– the "A" LED flashes every second. The light from the LED will be green if the
battery is charged, or red if the battery is low.
• When the edge is pressed:
– The "A" LED comes on and stays on until the edge is freed from the pres-
sure. In any case, it turns off after 1 minute. The light from the LED will be
green if the battery is charged, or red if the battery is low.
• When the battery is being charged:
– the red "B" LED (the one in the middle) flashes every 10 seconds.
7.2.2 - ...With the automation at a standstill:
IRW interface signals
The LED remains lit or flashes once or twice followed by a pause, repeated
cyclically, as shown in the following table:
Flashes
Meaning
1 red
The interface is not paired with any sensor
1 green, 1 green
The interface is paired with at least one sensor. The
matched sensors respond correctly. The matched sen-
sors have a charged battery.
1 red, 1 green
At least one of the matched sensors has a low battery,
The matched sensors respond correctly.
1 green, 1 red
The matched sensors have a charged battery. In the
previous manoeuvre, at least one of the sensors had
communication problems.
1 red, 1 red
At least one of the matched sensors has a low battery.
In the previous manoeuvre, at least one of the sensors
had communication problems.
Steady red
In the previous manoeuvre, at least one of the sensors
did not communicate at all.
TCW1/2 sensor signals
All LEDs remain off.
7.3 - "Check operation" procedure for the devices
This procedure can be performed at any time. It allows the diagnosis of the de-
vices present in the wireless radio network, to ascertain the status of the edge
or the quality of the radio signal. The procedure is activated as follows:
01. Press and release the interface button to enter "check operation" mode.
02. Make the following checks.
03. When finished, press and release the interface button to exit "check opera-
tion" mode or wait two minutes.
• Checking the efficiency of the sensitive edges
Act on the sensitive edge and observe the LEDs on the interface and on the
sensor, referring to the following table:
Interface LED
Meaning
steady green
edge not pressed
steady red
edge pressed
Sensor "A" LED
Meaning
flashing green
edge not pressed; battery charged
steady green
edge pressed; battery charged
flashing red
edge not pressed; battery low
steady red
edge pressed; battery low
• Checking the quality of the radio signal
Observe the "B" LEDs on the sensor, referring to the following table:
"B" LED
Meaning
off
No signal or very bad signal
o (red)
Low signal
oo (red)
Medium signal
ooo (red)
High signal
