The SAND S25 and SAND S25R sandblasting equipments are used in exactly the same way: the only
difference is that a fourth knob, present on both models, has two different functions as
follows:
• on the SAND S25 the fourth knob (27) is an air gun that is used by pressing its extremity downwards.
• on the SAND S25R the fourth knob (26) is a recycle sandblasting block that automatically re-utilises
the sand deposited on the bottom of the sandblasting chamber. For instructions on how to use the
recycle sandblasting block see section 7.5.1.

RESIDUAL RISK

7.6
Residual risk is:
• a danger that cannot be completely eliminated through design and application of safety devices.
• a potential danger which cannot be highlighted.
Sandblasting equipments are units which generate a variable-pressure outflow of sand through the fitted
nozzles; it therefore follows that the residual risks are as follows:
• being hit by jets of sand as a result of accidental opening of the glass hatch.
• work carried out on the equipment interior by unauthorised personnel.
Before using the SAND sandblasting equipment it is always advisable to lower the
glass hatch.
To prevent accidents always observe the instructions in this manual. Should you have
any doubts at all please contact the Manufacturer or your Authorised Servicing
Centre.
