10. Grab Base near Belt Path and pull side to
side and front to back to make sure Base
is installed tightly. Base should not move
more than 2.5 cm (1 in) side to side or
front to back at the Belt Path on the Child
Restraint.
If Base moves too much, open Belt
Tensioner, tension the LATCH Strap a little
more and try again. After this, if Base still
moves too much, you may need to try a
different vehicle seat location or installation
method, or both.
11. Replace Belt Path Cover on Base, making
sure to insert the tabs at the bottom
corners of the cover into the Base before
closing. Belt Path Cover will close with an
audible CLICK.
NOTE: To avoid interference with recline
and rotation, ensure the Belt Path Cover is
properly closed.
