Putting the unit into operation

The unit can be operated with a power supply of 100 V - 240 V, 47 - 63 Hz.
CAUTION !
Danger of overheating if switched on too long
The micromotor may be operated only at intervals, i.e. it always must be
switched off for 10 seconds following 30 seconds of continuous opera-
tion.
1.
Attach the contra-angle handpiece. The SIROEndo unit can accommo-
date any contra-angle handpiece with a coupling compliant with ISO stan-
dard 3964. (Attention: the correct speed is displayed only for 1:1, 6:1,
16:1, 18:1, 20:1 and 24:1 contra-angle handpieces.)
2.
Switch the unit on: a welcome message (A) briefly appears on the display.
Then the software version (B) is displayed for an equally brief period of
time. The display disappears again automatically.
